Barton Football Academy Leads the 2010 Bulldog Mini-Camp |
The 2010 Bulldog Football Mini-camp held July 6th & 7th was a rousing success for the athletes.
Michael Bush and James Lawrence of the Barton Football Academy led the kids through the camp. Their skills and ability to teach were impressive. The kids had a great time. Was truely a great opportunity for us to be taught by the best.
Michael Bush played both basketball and football for WSU. He played wide receiver for the Cougars where he recieved a number of awards. He now works as the head skills coach at the Barton Academy.
James Lawrence was also a two sport athlete at Western Washington. He also played wide receiver where he made second team all-confrense. He now works as the head speed and agility coach for the Barton Academy.
The Barton Football Academy has a great reputation in the Pacific Northwest for developing the basic skills necessary to be successful in the game of football. The Barton Academy runs camps all over the Northwest and most are open to all. Check their website for current updates. Most camps are open registration.
